Clean mating surfaces thoroughly. Then with the solvent
cement provided, and to the instructions given on the
tube, cement the elbow union assembly to the free end
of the selected boom.
Allow the solvent cement to set for 24 hours before
proceeding to

(standard systems).

Thread the cable from the sensor pipe
assembly (and the plastic water wash
feed tube if applicable) through the elbow
union assembly and pipe. Screw the
sensor pipe into the elbow union
assembly using p.t.f.e. to seal the thread.

Push the cable through the
cable gland.

If fitted, push the water wash tube onto the
connector in the end cap and secure with a
hose clamp.

Secure the end cap to the
pipe with the self tap screw.

Unscrew the sensor pipe assembly
and remove from the elbow union
assembly carefully withdrawing the
cable (and plastic water wash feed
tube if applicable).

Re-fit the ball float.

Tighten the cable gland.

Unscrew the securing ring and withdraw
the ball float.

Note. Leave the securing ring in place on
the elbow union assembly.

Information. Pipe requirement (user supplied):
O.D. 50 mm, w.t. 3.3 mm (or 1

Water wash systems only:

a) Unscrew the sensor block from the sensor

pipe (the cable may be left threaded through
the pipe). Thread the water wash tube
through the sensor pipe and fit onto the
connector on the sensor block and secure
