Connection example of a two-wire sensor
Hand/Auto, PID Control and Torque Control macros (see pages
respectively) use analog input 2 (AI2). The macro wiring diagrams for these macros
show the connection when a separately powered sensor is used. The figure below
gives an example of a connection using a two-wire sensor.
Note:
The sensor is supplied through its current output. Thus the output signal must
be 4…20 mA.
WARNING!
All ELV (extra low voltage) circuits connected to the drive must be used
within a zone of equipotential bonding, i.e. within a zone where all simultaneously
accessible conductive parts are electrically connected to prevent hazardous
voltages appearing between them. This is accomplished by a proper factory
grounding.
