Embedded fieldbus faults
Embedded fieldbus faults can be traced by monitoring group
parameters. See also fault/alarm

No master device
If there is no master device on line, parameter
and
values remain unchanged.
What to do:
• Check that the network master is connected and properly configured.
• Check the cable connection.
Same device address
If two or more devices have the same address, parameter
value increases with every read/write command.
What to do:
• Check the device addresses. No two devices on line may have the same address.
Incorrect wiring
If the communication wires are swapped (terminal A on one device is connected to
terminal B on another device), parameter
S value remains
increases.
What to do:
Check the RS-232/EIA-485 interface connection.
