Data object diagnostics
The Data object diagnostic dialog appears. Now you can drag and drop data objects
from the object tree to the Data object diagnostics. The other way is to select a
specific data object from the object tree and select
Tools > Online diagnostics
.
The data object attributes’ values can be changed by selecting a specific attribute and
write the new value to the text box under the
Write value
button. To change the
value click
Write value
. You can filter the displayed data object by clicking
Excluded items
button. The notepad opens and you can write to the notepad the data
object types you want to exclude from the Data object diagnostics view. Save the
notepad by selecting
File > Save
.
5.4.2.
Diagnostic services of OPC servers and clients
The COM 610 Gateway allows you to control and monitor the server and client
channel and device communication in the Communication structure of the Project
Explorer. You can take channels/subnetworks and devices into use or out of use via
the respective Diagnostics function. You can also monitor the channel/subnetwork
and device communication with the help of various Diagnostic Counters, and check
the device status information, see Fig. 5.4.2.-1.
