5 Preliminary checks and controls

CAUTION
After installing the panel and after the
connection of auxiliary circuits, but before
connecting the power supply, perform
inspections, checks, tests of insulation,
mechanical tests, load tests.
Proceed as follows:
•
Make sure that all parts of the panel, and in
particular breaker and high voltage unit, are
clean, free from dust and debris from packaging
to verify that the running rails of the trolley switch
and the mechanism of movement of the shutters
are perfectly cleaned
•
Check that the power bus bars and power
cable connections are clean
•
Verify that the output connections of the panel
are correct as indicated by the documentation.
Make sure that the equipment at low voltage
is correct, paying particular attention to the
relays and protective devices
•
Check the insulation of the auxiliary circuits
•
Check the insulation of medium voltage circuits
in accordance with the construction standards
of the panel
•
Check the extraction and insertion of switches
and rectifiers (when present) in their cells,
verifying the operation of the blocks and
accessories
