In the following chapter the functions of the user program
Dim
Lightscenes Dynamic 1f/1
are described for the DG/S 1.1 with its
parameter windows and communication objects.
3.3
Overview
The user program
Dim Lightscenes Dynamic 1f/1
must be used for the 1-fold DALI-Gateway DG/S 1.1.
Programming is implemented with ETS2 V 1.3 or higher. If ETS3 is used, a “.VD3” type file must be imported.

The application program is dynamically structured to guarantee simple
project design, i.e. only the basic parameter windows with the
corresponding parameters are enabled in the basic setting. Parameter
pages or parameters can be enabled by the activation of corresponding
functions, which will show the full range of functionality of the application
program.
The DALI-Gateway DG/S 1.1 is supplied with the application program
installed. Hence, only group addresses and parameters must be loaded
during commissioning. If necessary, the entire application program can be
loaded.
3.4
Parameter window
The functions of the outputs and their properties are determined in the
individual parameter windows.
The parameter window is set up dynamically so that further parameter
windows can be enabled depending on the parameterisation and function
of the outputs.
In the following description "Device X" represents every DALI device
which is connected to a channel of the DALI-Gateway.
The illustrations of the parameter windows in this manual correspond to
the ETS3 parameter windows. The application program is optimised for
ETS3. Using the corresponding VD2 file, it is also possible to
parameterise and configure the DG/S 1.1 without any problems using
ETS2. In the ETS2 program, it is possible however that the parameter
page is automatically split by ETS if all parameters are used.
