In Xtra-VFI Mode, the UPS system adapts the power capacity according to the partial AC load by put-
ting the unused UPS module in stand-by mode. The remaining UPS modules are operating in double
conversion mode. The UPS system autonomously decides which UPS module goes into stand-by mode.
The system shall rotate/swap the UPS modules between the double conversion mode and the stand-by
mode to extend the operating life and equalize aging.

In Bypass Mode, the load is supplied from the bypass mains (L2) through the static bypass . The
Inverter is OFF.

In the Bypass Mode the battery charger remains active. In the event of a bypass mains (Line 2) failure,
the load will automatically be transferred from the mains to the inverter within 5 ms (this is valid for
single and parallel systems). If the Utility Mains supply (LINE 1) is not available, the energy is supplied by
the battery.
