1 Important safety instructions
This manual contains important instructions for
models DPA 250 S4 that should be followed
during installation and maintenance of the UPS.
It also provides guidelines to check delivery and
is in- tended for people who plan the installation,
installation, commission and use or service the
UPS system and/or the battery cabinet. The
reader is expected to know the fundamentals of
electricity, wiring, electrical components and
electrical schematic symbols.

CONTROLLED SYSTEM IS
RECOMMENDED IN ORDER TO
MAINTAIN THE ROOM TEMPERATURE
CONDITION AT 20°C

The UPS system operates with mains, batteries or
bypass power carrying high currents and volt-
age. The correctly installed UPS system is
grounded to earth and IP 20 rated against electric
shocks and foreign objects when all dead fronts
are in place. Installation and service should be
carried out by the manufacturer’s qualified tech-
nicians or their certified service partners.
COMMISSIONING AND OPERATIONS
INSIDE THE UPS MUST BE CARRIED OUT
BY A CERTIFIED SERVICE ENGINEER OF
THE MANUFACTURER OR BY AN AGENT
CERTIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
BY NOT FULFILLING THIS OBLIGATION,
THE PRODUCT MAY LOSE ITS WARRANTY
