Chapter 3: Configuration
3.6 Setting the Configuration
493-0736-11 (6-2)
121
For example, setting
SPLoLimit
to 2.00m
3
/min and
SPHiLimit
to 7.00m
3
/min
limits the Set Point to values within the range 2.00 < SP < 7.00. The limits are
indicated on the SP bar graph by brighter segments. It is not possible to set these
parameters beyond the following limitations:
• SPLoLimit > ISP
• SPHiLimit < ISP
• SPLoLimit > ESP
• SPHiLimit < ESP
Set Point Tracking
*
The internal set point can track another value by means of the parameter
SPTrackMode
. There are two methods of tracking available.
If TrackESP is configured the value of the signal is copied to ISP. TrackESP
cannot be configured if
ESPSignal
is set to Off; if it is set to Off after TrackESP
has been configured, the result is the same as if no tracking had been configured.
If the tracking is configured to TrackPVInNonAuto then ISP tracks the Process
Value whenever the control mode is not Auto (i.e. Manual, Tracking, Forced
Output, Tuning).
Set Point Ramps
There are two kinds of Set Point ramps:
• Simple *
• Advanced
