6 Function description
6.1 Overview
WARNING
Appropriate training is required in order to use FlexLoader SC 6000. Incorrect
use of the product can lead to personal injury and material damage.
Before commissioning the product, it is your responsibility to carefully read the
chapter about safety and to be familiar with the safety devices, see
FlexLoader SC 6000 is a module based automation cell for handling parts in
machine tending applications. The system can easily be adapted to the requirements
of the customer.
In a typical application FlexLoader SC 6000 is integrated with a machine tool. The
operator places parts on a conveyor belt that acts as a buffer. The robot picks the
parts from the conveyor belt. A vision system with camera that is located above
the conveyor belt guides the robot to the correct grip position. After that all parts
under the camera have been picked, the conveyor belt feeds new parts forward.
