5.2. Transport
The apparatus and components may only be transported in the original packaging with suitable means of
transportation. Shocks and impacts, penetration of dust, liquids and moisture are to be prevented.
IMPORTANT!
The apparatus is susceptible to blows, in particular if equiped with ceramic insulators
To lift or move the apparatus, one should proceed as illustrated below. Blows to the insulators are to be
absolutely avoided. For weights and dimensions, please refer to a later chapter.

5.3. Goods Acceptance and Visual Inspection
After delivery of the component, it is recommended to carry out a visual inspection of the goods and to check:
•
the correctness of the component
•
for damages
•
the conformity with the order, the identification plates, the identification numbers and the quantity of
components supplied.
With subsequent longer storage, the original packaging must be well re-sealed, in order to protect the apparatus
against environmental influences.
5.4. Handling of transport damage
In case of ABB Sécheron being responsible for transport, the customer is required to report any damage in
writing to ABB Sécheron
within 7 days of receipt of the goods
