Staircase lighting function
A typical staircase lighting function can be parameterised in the dynamic
operating mode of the DALI Gateway. The following parameter setting can
be used whereby the “Dim period to reach brightness value before turned
off” is dependent on the status of the staircase lighting switch.

This parameter setting results in the following timed progression:

In the dynamic operating mode, only the communication object
“Channel X - On / Off” is available, with which the dynamic mode can be
controlled.
If a retriggering is carried out during phase
햲
(telegram “Channel X - On /
Off” with value “1”), the dynamic function is continued unchanged. After an
ON telegram in phase
햳
, the hold time
햳
is restarted. An ON telegram “1”
in the warning phase
햴
leads to phases
햳
and
햴
restarting.
In the event of an OFF telegram (“Channel X - On / Off” = “0”) in phase
햲
or
햳
, phase
햴
is started immediately. If an OFF telegram is received in
phase
햴
, the dynamic mode is continued unchanged until the switch OFF
value is achieved.
