Device Connection
See figure
(1) Input voltage and power supply
The input voltage can be 1, 2 or 3-phase (50/60 Hz). The internal power
supply for the device and the modules inserted is generated from the input
voltage. It is also supplied to the modules.
On mains electricity networks with a nominal voltage of less than 190 V
AC, the 12 V DC auxiliary power supply (3) is required if the input voltage
is single phase.

(3) Optional auxiliary power supply
If required, 12 V DC can also be connected to safeguard the internal sup-
ply of power for the device. In this way the device continues to function
normally on the failure of the 115/230 V AC supply.
(4) Additional input voltage
Some modules (e.g. 24 V DC shutter actuator) require a special input volt-
age that is connected directly to the modules. To make the wiring easier,
24 V DC can be connected here (terminals 5/6); this is supplied direct to
the modules via terminals 9/10 using a jumper supplied. Terminals 7/8 are
used for looping through the 24 V DC.
The terminals can carry a max. continuous current of 8 A.
(5) Manual operation
For the manual operation of module functions, the module is first selected
using the rotary selector switch („Module Select“). The module can then
be operated using buttons and the state of the module is indicated using
LEDs.
