What is minimum signal duration?
In contrast to the maximum dead time, a telegram only sent once the minimum signal duration has
elapsed.
In more detail:
If an edge is detected on the input, the minimum signal duration starts to run. No telegrams are
sent on the bus at this time. The signal on the input is observed for the minimum signal duration. If
a further edge appears at the input during the minimum signal duration, it is interpreted as a new
operation, and the minimum signal duration restarts. If no further edges occur after the minimum
signal duration starts, a telegram is sent on the bus after it has elapsed.
