2.5.6. Orienting and securing the robot
General
This section details how to orient and secure the robot to the base plate in order to run the
robot safely. The requirements made on the foundations are shown in the following tables and
figures.

Attachment screws
The table below specifies the type of securing screws and washers to be used for securing the
robot to the base plate/foundation.

Robot attachment bolts and washers, 8 pcs (M24 x 100)

Orienting grooves in the robot base and in the base plate

Levelling screws. Note! Remove before the robot base is fitted!

Base plate attachment screws
Suitable screws, lightly lubricated:
M24 x 100
Quality:
Quality 8.8
Suitable washer:
Thickness: 4 mm
Outer diameter: 44 mm
Inner diameter: 25 mm
Tightening torque:
725 Nm
