3.5.1 Cabling of the IRT 710
Description
The IRT 710 has an internal cable chain which carries flexible movement cables.
The IRT 710 motor can be controlled through an external SMB box, or through the
integrated SMB card of a manipulator.
Static cables connect to the IRC5 controller.
The maximum allowed resolver cable length is 30 m, from the resolver to the serial
measurement board (SMB).
The total length for all resolver cables using the same excitation must not exceed
70 m.
