Brake release tool: 3HAC081310-001
Release the brakes of the axis-2 motor with
the brake release tool.

Turn off the brake release tool.

Connect the tool to the motor power
connector (MP).

Release the brakes by turning on the
brake release tool and pressing the
brake release button on the tool.
The power for brake release is only
applied for 180 seconds after activa-
tion.
DANGER
Handling the tool incorrectly will cause
serious injury.
Read and follow enclosed user instructions
for the tool.

WARNING
Electrical damage to the motor may occur
if 24V is supplied to the motor connector
for more than 30 seconds. Use the spe-
cified brake release tool to eliminate the
risk.
CAUTION
Whenever parting/mating motor and gear-
box, the gears may be damaged if excess-
ive force is used.

Rotation tool M4: 3HAB7887-1
Apply the rotation tool.

Use caution and fit the motor in its final
position while at the same time rotating the
motor pinion slightly using the rotation tool.
•
Make sure that the motor pinion is
properly mated to the gear of the
gearbox.
•
Make sure that the motor pinion
does not get damaged.
•
Make sure that the direction of the
cable exit is facing the correct way.
