Perform this function test to change the mode on the FlexPendant using the
following operation:

Performing the function test
Note
Action
Start the robot system.

This test is passed if it is possible to run
the robot program in auto mode.
Change to
Automatic
operating mode and
Motors ON
state, and then run the robot in
auto mode.

If it is not possible to run the robot pro-
gram, this test is failed and the root cause
of the failure must be found.
This test is passed if it is possible to run
the robot program in manual mode.
Change to
Manual
operating mode and
Motors ON
state, and then run the robot in
manual mode.

If it is not possible to run the robot pro-
gram, this test is failed and the root cause
of the failure must be found.
This test is passed if it is possible to run
the robot program in manual full speed
mode.
Change to
Manual Full Speed
mode and
Motors ON
state, and then run the robot in
manual full speed mode.
Note
Manual full speed mode is not available in
USA or Canada.

If it is not possible to run the robot pro-
