1 Important safety instructions
Always follow the precautions and instructions
described in this manual. Any deviations from the
instructions may result in electric shock or cause
accidental load loss.

To operate the UPS with optimal efficiency, your
installation site should meet the environmental
parameters outlined in this user manual.
Excessive amounts of dust or moisture in the
operating environment may cause damage or
lead to malfunction. The UPS should always be
protected from the weather and sunshine.
The operating environment must meet the
weight, airflow, size and clearance requirements
specified in the technical datasheet.

THE UPS SYSTEM OR FROM THE BATTERY
CABINET: DANGER OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK.

MAINS ENSURE THAT THE UPS IS EARTHED!

DISPLAY A WARNING LABEL ON ALL
PRIMARY POWER ISOLATORS INSTALLED
AWAY FROM THE UPS AREA TO WARN
ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL
THAT THE CIRCUIT FEEDS A UPS.
MAKE SURE THAT WARNING LABEL
CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING TEXT OR
EQUIVALENT: “ISOLATE THE UPS
(UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY)
BEFORE WORKING ON THIS CIRCUIT.”
Under no circumstances should the UPS be
installed in an airtight room, in the presence of
flammable gases, or in an environment exceeding
the environmental requirements specified below.
An ambient temperature of +20°C to +25°C is
recommended to achieve a long life of the UPS
and batteries. The cooling air entering the UPS
must not 40 °C and the humidity should
be below 95 percent (non-condensing).
