Detailed information about the Relay Configuration Tool is given in the two manuals
for the tool (refer to section “References”).
4.1.2.2.
MIMIC configuration
The MIMIC, a picture on the graphic LCD, is designed with the Relay Mimic Editor. In
addition, the editor is used to define the eight programmable LED indicators and the
corresponding alarm texts on the front panel, as well as the alarm modes.
The MIMIC picture may include a single-line diagram, measured values with units, free
texts, etc. The object status indicators (open, closed, undefined) are selected from a
library or drawn according to the customer's requirements. Note that the operation of the
objects themselves is determined by means of the Relay Configuration Tool.
Fig. 4.1.2.2.-1. MIMIC configuration with the Relay Mimic Editor.
All the eight alarm function blocks can be configured in the same alarm view in the
Relay Mimic Editor by defining the ON and OFF state texts and LED colours. Three
colours can be used to indicate the ON and OFF state. The three basic alarm modes
available are:
•
non-latched
•
latched-steady
•
latched blinking
The first line of the alarm view defines the options for the MMIALAR1 function block,
the second line the options for MMIALAR2 and so on.
