Event codes
The start and operate situations of the protec-
tion stages and the states of the output signals
are defined as events and provided with event
codes, which can be transmitted to higher sys-
tem levels via the serial bus. An event, which is
to be communicated, is marked with a multi-
plier 1. The event mask is formed by the sum of
the weight factors of all those events, that are to
be communicated.
