The data transfer codes L, B, C and T are to be
used for the event data transmission between
the module and the substation control data
communicator. By means of the L-command
the event register can be read once. With a B-
command it is possible to re-read the content
of an event register, once unsuccessfully read
with an L-command. The B-command may be
repeated if required. Generally the station level
data communicator continuously reads the
event data and transfers the data further to an
output device. Normally the event register of
the unit is empty. At the same time the data
communicator resets diverging status
information, so that this information is normally
zero.
The setting values S1…S7 are setting values
used by the protection program . The settings
S1…S5 are settings, set either locally on the
relay front panel or remotely. The settings S6
and S7 can not be remotely set. The values
S21...S25 are remotely definable percentage
multipliers for the local settings S11...S15.
New values may be written to the settings
S21… S25 after first opening the password for
the remote setting (V160). The variables
S31...S35 hold the actual effectuated remote
settings.
When the remote setting percentages
S21...S24 are altered, the variables may be
given values which render the effectuated
values to exceed the setting value ranges
specified for the module. However, the setting
values are guaranteed only within the setting
range, specified in the technical data sheets of
the module .
When testing the self-supervision system
(V165), the operation of the protection system
is prohibited, as long as the self-supervision
system is active and the IRF-indicator is lit.
