In the
‘General’
tab, you can define the
Header for speech messages
and
the
Header for text messages
. If you select the checkboxes
With device
description
and
With object description,
these descriptions precede a voice
or text message.
Fig. 5.3.3.2a: ‘General’ tab
This header is particularly necessary for people who receive messages from
several devices. They can thus identify from which system (or house) the
message originates.
You can enter the
Device description
and the
Object description
for text
messages in the text fields while the messages for the system and the de-
vice designation can be recorded in the ‘Messages’ tab. For all messages
(text and voice), you can select whether you wish to distinguish between day
and night e.g. in order to notify different people during the night than during
the day. If you wish to distinguish between day and night, you must specify
when the day starts and when it ends. Times outside these periods are then
regarded as being at night.
Finally, you can decide whether the date and time should also be displayed
or announced when a message is received and in which format this should
occur.
