Installing compressor casing
NOTICE
Always replace O-rings (see section Spare and customer spare parts)
u
Fit O-rings (42005 and 79005)
u
The hole in the diffuser (79000) must be aligned with the positioning
pin (42010) in the bearing flange (42005).
u
Thoroughly clean the V-clamps (72020/72030) before assembly.
u
Lubricate the V-clamp threads and the inner part of the profile with
high-temperature grease.
If removed
u
Install wall insert (77000 / 77006) with O-ring (77005) in compressor
casing (72000)
u
Attach lifting gear to the assembly / disassembly device (90020) and
clamp it to the compressor casing (72000) (tightening torque 60 Nm).
u
Fit compressor casing (72000) with wall insert (77000 / 77006).
u
Fit V-clamp (72030) and tighten according to the table of tightening
torques.
u
Fit the filter silencer or air suction branch and attach all air lines ac-
cording to the enginebuilder's specifications.
