HOISTING THE MACHINE

To hoist the machine use the special attachments or hooks
located on the upper part (Fig. A). It is advisable to use an
appropriate compensator to avoid damaging the machine.

The machine is equipped with extra wedges that, when not in
use, are stored in the upper part of the machine. They should
always be used when the machine is detached from the tractor
(see safety labels – page 6).

TROUBLESHOOTING

a)  The bale is not ejected from the chamber

:

1.  Reduce the baling pressure.
2.  Keep the machine on the central axis of the crop line.
3.  Assemble on the rear door the “Iron wedges” supplied as standard equipment.
4.  Make sure the machine is slightly inclined upwards at the front

b)  The main chain is turning but the product is not entering:

1.  Check whether the pick-up is turning.

If not, replace the shear bolt no.12 Fig. 8/A.
c)  The pick-up is clogged:

1.

Stop and reverse with the P.T.O. engaged, lift and lower the pick-up

2.

In the event of large blockages, disengage the P.T.O., turn off the tractor, take off the

ignition

key and remove the

clogged crop manually

WARNING!

When the machine is clogged, operate on
it only after disconnecting the P.T.O.,
turning off the engine and removing the
key from the ignition.

WARNING!

Normally, clogging occurs when the crop
line is too large and irregular or because
the machine is running too fast.

d)  The twine slips on one side of the bale:

1.  Adjust the twine limiter located

under the binder unit on both sides
(see parts 6 of “Scheme of
automatic binder” page

8

).

e)  The chamber does not close perfectly:

1.  Adjust the position of the hook by

means of bolt 9 Fig. 8/A (see
pag.16).

2.  Check there is no crop between the

base of rear door and the frame of
the machine. If necessary, remove
it.
