Finally, if you have the "MacTCP Ping" application, ping Diskus
to confirm communications.

RotoPhoto Operation

Importing a Diskus Image into a Macintosh

Import an image as follows:

STEP 1:

Open the Adobe Photoshop, DeBabelizer, or Painter
software application.

STEP 2:

Select Acquire from the File menu, and click on Abekas
Disk

to import an image.

STEP 3:

The first time you use the Acquire plug-in, it prompts you
to select the source disk recorder by name. Select the source
disk recorder from the list box in the Login window.

STEP 4:

Enter a login name if you do not want to log in as a guest.
Click on Connect.

NOTE: You must enter any user name other than
"guest" into the Diskus user list before you log in.
See the Ethernet section of this manual for
information about the User command.
