DiskNet
Overview
DiskNet
is a stand-alone Macintosh application that provides
basic transport control and image transfer functions for Diskus.
DiskNet runs under MacTCP and connects to Diskus by means
of conventional Ethernet.
Installation
The following steps instruct you how to install DiskNet onto your
Macintosh:
STEP 1:
Verify Diskus is listed in the Hosts file, in the Systems folder
on the hard drive. Also verify Diskus’ I.P. address. Add
Diskus to the end of the Hosts file, if necessary.
STEP 2:
Load the RotoPhoto2.0/DiskNet floppy into the floppy
drive. A floppy icon RotoPhoto2.0 appears on screen and
the RotoPhoto2.0 window opens.
NOTE: Since DiskNet is a stand-alone application,
we recommend it be installed into the Applications
folder.
STEP 3:
Open the hard drive window.
STEP 4:
Drag and drop DiskNet and DiskNet Documentation from
the RotoPhoto2.0 window into the Aplications folder.
STEP 5:
Eject the RotoPhoto2.0 floppy by dragging its icon over the
Trash icon.
