The Control menu sets the control mode: keyboard, remote 1,
remote 2, slave, or SCSI/Ethernet.
Var Menu
Selecting the Var menu brings up two choices: Set Minimum or
Set Maximum. Selecting either brings up a dialog box that you
can use to enter the maximum or minimum variable play speed
from the workstation keyboard. Clicking the VAR button brings
up a slider bar in the AVCP. The bar lets you use the mouse to set
the maximum or minimum values.
Pattern Menu
Selecting the Pattern menu brings up 12 choices: black, bars100,
bars75, rampHoriz, rampVert, white, yellow, cyan, green,
magenta, red, and blue.
Audio Menu
This menu has four choices: Output, Volume, Load clip data, and
Save clip data.
Terminal Menu
Selecting this menu lets you attach (show) or detach (hide) the
terminal portion of the AVCP display.
Command Input Area
The bottom part of the screen lets you enter SCSI/Ethernet
commands from the workstation to control Diskus. The result of
each command appears in the input area. Scroll bars let you view
commands and results if the lines have scrolled off the input area.

To clear the input area, move the mouse cursor to the input area
and click the right mouse button. This brings up a menu that lets
you select “clear window.”
