video starts. A positive offset value starts audio playing after
video starts; a negative value starts audio playing before video
starts.
Selecting Audio Output
You can control the audio output with the Audio Output menu.
This menu has the following selections:

Volume
Selecting Volume brings up an audio control panel that is part of
the SGI workstation operating system. See your SGI
documentation for details. VideoTools only makes use of the
output level controls. There are right and left audio channel level
controls that can be ganged or separate.
Save Clip Data
Audio attachments to a clip are stored temporarily during
operation, but not saved automatically when you log off the
system. This menu lets you assign and save an audio database
name (.adb extension) with the clip for later recall. A pop-up
menu lets you enter a file name.
Load Clip Data
Use this menu to load an audio database.
