Basic Playback
There are several ways to play back material on Diskus, but this
example uses the most basic.
STEP 1:
Open the Transport window
Move the cursor outside any open windows and press the
left mouse button. This brings up the List window. Drag the
highlight to the Transport item, then release the mouse
button. The Transport window appears.
STEP 2:
Play the disk
Use the Play Forward, Play Backward, Jog Forward,
and/or Jog Backward buttons in the Transport window.
The jog buttons move the disk one field (or frame, if the Fm
button is highlighted) each time you click on them.
STEP 3:
Stop playing back the disk
Click on the Stop button in the Transport window.
STEP 4:
Cue the disk to the start point for playback
There are two ways to do this:
1. Use the hand cursor (move the cursor outside any open
windows and press the right mouse button). The disk
shuttles back and forth as you drag the mouse left and right.
2. Use the point cursor in the window (left mouse button),
to drag the slider in the Transport window. The disk
shuttles as you drag the slider.
