The Var button lets you enable the variable speed playback
mode. The Diskus’ variable speed range is 0.000 to 50.00 times
normal. You can set the playback speed three ways:
Click on the diamond to bring up the Numeric
window and enter a speed with the number buttons.
Click on OK to close the Numeric window and enter
the variable speed.
Click on Var to bring up another slider bar and the
range labels shown below. Move the slider to change
the speed setting. This slider bar has three sections.
Initially, the slider bar range is 0 - 2. Moving the slider
past the right endstop changes the range to 2 - 8.
Moving past the right endstop again makes the range
8 - 50. Moving the slider past the left endstop moves
back through the ranges.
Click on the Var button to bring up another slider bar
and the range labels. Click on the Variable Speed
Value
label to bring up the Numeric window. Enter a
speed with the buttons, then click OK. The current
variable playback speed appears in the Variable
Speed Value
label.
