• Batterys should be regularly changed every one to 1.5 years by a specialist
retailer who will also, if necessary, check the power consumption and the
condition of the seals and who will replace them if necessary.
• The watch must be immediately taken to a specialist retailer if condensation
occurs (mist under the glass) in order to prevent the moisture from causing
any damage.
• The crown should always be pushed in or screwed tight when you wear
the watch.
• The leather strap on your watch is a wearing part and, as a natural product,
it is particularly at risk, especially when exposed to moisture, perspiration,
chemicals and abrasion. That is why it will only last for a limited period of
time and should therefore (also for reasons of hygiene) be replaced every six
to 12 months depending on how often it has been worn. The spring-loaded
pins should also be checked and replaced if necessary when the strap is
changed.
• The individual manufacturer‘s instructions of use must also be observed.
Please contact your clock and watch specialist in the event of any further
questions.
How to wear your watch and care for it
Your watch is a masterpiece of high-precision engineering and electronics.
It has been designed to tell the correct time for many years to come.
Please note that damage caused by inappropriate use, interventions by
third parties, incorrect battery fitting and glass breakage do not constitute
the basis for the assertion of claims based on the warranty or guarantee.
Instructions of use:
• Protect your watch from shocks, magnetic fields, intense heat, water and
chemicals as well as from mechanical abrasion.
• DIN-compliant water resistance is a design feature that may be negatively
affected by shock, temperature fluctuations and the effects of fats and
acids. Watches that are used for swimming and diving should be treated
and stored with particular care; their resistance to water should be
checked annually.
• The battery life depends on, among other things, the movement‘s design.
When battery-powered watches stop or indicate that the power is starting
to drop, they should be taken to a specialist retailer immediately in order
to prevent damage to the inside of the watch or to the environment from
being caused.
