9 Maintenance and cleaning

Refer to the maintenance schedule for checking, cleaning and replacing components. For assembly and
disassembly of the individual components, proceed as shown in the following diagram:

Use a wire brush to clean components to which weld spatter generally adheres and scour with
compressed air. Mount or replace.

Check all cables and plastic sheaths for damage and soiling and replace if necessary.
3
Check that all connections are secure.

Hold the tip adaptor extension

Remove the contact tip
with a wrench. Check it and, if necessary, clean or replace it.
