9.4 Changing the filter

Switch off the power to the fume extraction system.

Dedust the filter cartridge before changing the filter and empty the filter housing.

9.4.1 Replace the protective underlay

After the system has been dedusted, disconnect the FEC from the compressed air connection.

Unlock
the filter housing
.

Tip the filter housing
forward.
4
Place the protective underlay
(in the package with the new filter cartridge) on the extraction system.
CAUTION
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• Personal protective equipment consists of protective clothing, safety goggles, a class P3 respiratory mask, protective
gloves and safety shoes.
• Personal protective equipment must be worn when in the vicinity of the dust collecting bag as it is being filled with the
separated dust.
NOTICE
• The filter must be changed if, after multiple dedustings, the "Dirty" LED is still illuminated and no other error
has occurred.
