6.1 Transport and installation
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start
The following instructions must be adhered to during all maintenance, servicing, assembly, disassembly and repair work:
• Switch off the device.
• Disconnect all electrical connections.

Risk of fire
Before installing and operating the device, please observe the following:
• The extraction of welding fume during welding of oil-wetted parts is not allowed.
• It is not allowed to install or operate the system in areas subject to dust or gas explosion hazards.
• Before commissioning, it must be checked if the operating voltage given on the nameplate corresponds to the
mains voltage.
• The operating, maintenance and servicing conditions must be observed.
NOTICE
• Use the device only in rooms with sufficient ventilation.
• The device must be positioned on a flat surface near the work station.
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
CAUTION
Risk of injury
Injuries may be caused by improper handling.
• Use an appropriate lifting tool with load handling attachment for transporting and installing the device.
• Transport the device only over even ground.
• Transport the device only by the handle.
• Watch out for obstacles.
• Avoid abrupt lifting and setting down.
• Be sure that the filter housing does not make contact if you pass over edging, because damage to the filter housing
could occur.
• Do not lift the components over persons or other devices.
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• Send bystanders out of the danger zone.
• Note the weight of the device when lifting it.

CAUTION
Risk of toppling
Physical injury or damage to the device due to improper assembly.
• Place the device on a suitable base (flat, solid, dry) on which it will not topple over.
