Position the welding fume extraction system appropriately and lock the castors
6.2 Mounting the extraction arm
The extraction arm is included in the scope of supply and is not pre-assembled. It consists of the following components:
NOTICE
• The device must be at least 1.0 m away from the wall.
• Select a location that allows a short and straight extraction hose feed and prevents it from entering the employee’s
space of movement.
• Protect the components against rain and direct sunlight.
• Use the device only in dry, clean and well-ventilated rooms.
WARNING
Risk of injury and device damage
Do not move the device when the extraction arm is outstretched.
• The device should be moved only when the extraction arm is upright.
CAUTION
Damage to the extraction arm
A limit stop prevents the extraction arm from rotating past 350°.
• Do not rotate the extraction arm past the limit stop (max. 350°).
