Appendix E. Installing The Hardware Monitor System
The Hardware Monitor System is a self-diagnostic system for PCs. It will protect PC hardware by
monitoring several critical items including power supply voltage, CPU and system fan speeds, and CPU
and system temperatures. These items are important for the operation of the system; errors may result in
permanent damage to the PC. Once any item is out of its normal range, a warning message will pop up
and remind the user to take proper measures.
The following description will tell you how to install the Hardware Monitor System and use it. Insert the
AT7 series CD into your CD-ROM drive. It should execute the program automatically. If not, you can go
to the CD location and execute the execution file from the main directory of this CD. After it is executed,
you will see the screen below.
Step 1:
Click “
Utility
” button.
Step 2:
Click “
Hardware Monitor
” button to
start install the hardware monitor system utility.
Step 3:
Then wizard will extract the files need to
install.
Step 4:
You will see the install shell wizard
active.
