2.6 Positioning of the two-thimble strap
Fig. 11
The assembly position is indicated by a blue sticker. The
assembly is carried out by passing the strap around the slat
that receives the sticker (holes are provided for passing
the strap into the WING System® slat connections). In final
position, one thimble needs to be obtained on the upper
part of the slat cover and one thimble on the lower part of
the slat cover. Again, the over-moulded loop must be located
under the slats.

2.7 Positioning of the transverse strap

-
The passages for the transverse strap are indicated by
the yellow stickers on the ends of the WING System®
slats (see description of the stickers on page 5). The strap
is assembled by passing it through the connecting holes
of the slats located at the ends of the WING System®, as
well as in the central thimbles.

-
In final position, the double loop buckle of the transverse
strap must be located under the slat cover and pushed
towards the side opposite the roller. This strap must
be adjusted to the rolled position to prevent the WING
System® from hanging under the roller or the strap from
becoming too taut.
-
-
For a large WING System® with two double-thimble
loops, make sure to pass the transverse strap through
the thimbles.
