RECORD SETUP
In this menu the recording behaviour of the DVR is set
up.
RECORDING OPERATIONS
SCHEDULE
MODE
Select between DAILY (schedule will
apply to every day of the week) or
WEEKLY (each day of the week has
its own schedule).
PRE EVENT
RECORDING
TIME
When the DVR is not in continuous re-
cording mode, this setting determines
the amount of data that is always re-
corded before an event occurs (motion
detection, alarm input etc.).
POST EVENT
RECORDING
TIME
When the DVR is not in continuous re-
cording mode, this setting determines
the amount of data that is always re-
corded after an event occurs (motion
detection, alarm input etc.).
Note
Remember that if SCHEDULE MODE is set to
WEEKLY, recording settings need to be changed
for each day as well as for each particular time.
CONTINUOUS/MOTION RECORDING
This setup screen allows the operator to configure sched-
uled and motion detection recording.
SIZE/FPS/QUALITY Recording settings for each chan-
nel can be defined across a 24
hour period, in blocks (for example
between 09:00 and 18:00) or for
each individual hour. Note that
when SCHEDULE MODE is set to
WEEKLY, each day of the week
can also be selected.
ACTIVATION
This section determines at what
times the DVR will record and
whether it is in continuous
recording or motion detection.
SIZE/FPS/QUALITY
In order to change the recording settings you need to
mark the hour in the time bar. Click and hold the left
mouse button to select the hours. After releasing the
mouse button a window to change the settings will open.
SIZE
Recording resolution: 352x288,
704x288 or 704x576
FPS
Recorded frames per second
QUALITY
Four different recording quality set-
tings.
AUDIO
Select if audio shall be recorded. Audio
channels have to be assigned first.
Note
Each SIZE mode has a total amount FPS. When
adjusting the FPS the remaining frames for the
other channels are shown at the bottom. If a nega-
tive value is shown the FPS value has to be
changed.
Note
During playback, when a particular channel is se-
lected in full screen, the assigned audio channel
will be played back at the same time.
