Can I keep my existing phone number?
Yes, you can keep your number or receive a new number
if you prefer. Your name and number(s) appears in the
phone book, just as before.
Do I need a different phone? Are my
phone jacks altered?
You still use your regular telephone, with your existing
jacks. It all stays the same. The only difference is that
when you pick up the phone, Access is supplying you
with a digital-quality line, with digital features, and of
course the low, low rates.
Will my number still be available in the
phone book?
Yes, each Primary and Secondary line gets a basic White
Page listing.
Can I still use directory assistance?
Yes, dialing 411 will get Directory Assistance access.
There is a fee of $1 per use.
What is the speed dial number for
accessing voicemail?
From your home phone, dial *98. When prompted,
enter your password.
Can I get access to my voicemail when I’m
away from home?
Yes, see page 12 for the phone number which will allow
you remote access to your voicemail. After dialing, you
will be prompted to enter your mailbox number (your
full 10-digit phone number) and your password.
