2.1.3 MAiNTENANCE

Only carry out maintenance which is described in the user manual.
See chapter 5 “Maintenance”.

An authorised technician must carry out maintenance and repairs which are not
described in the manual.

In order to keep your lift safe and reliable, it is recommended to have it serviced
annually by an authorised technician.

Do not disassemble or repair the stairlift yourself. Have stairlift parts repaired and
replaced by an authorised technician.

Do not modify the stairlift in any way.

Do not remove stickers, labels, data plates and warning plates from the stairlift.

If you think that the stairlift has a defect which can cause injury or death, do not
use the stairlift and immediately contact your supplier (see chapter 9).

For North America: Do regular tests and inspections according to “ASME A18.1 -
2005: Safety Standard for Platform Lifts and Stairway Chairlifts”.
