Tools
The tools menu contains several features. They include:
•
Delete Sensor Data
–
This allows deletion of historical sensor configuration and log data from the PC. It does not remove
any data from the DataSnap
•
Manage Reading Descriptions
–
Modify or delete the default readings descriptions for a sensor. Defaults can only be added
from within the ‘Sensor Details’ window in the configuration screen. Readings are unique to a particular type of sensor. If a
sensor has default readings defined, they will automatically be used when a sensor of that type is added
•
Upgrade Firmware
–
The functionality and feature set of a DataSnap
is called ‘firmware’. Occasionally, Acclima engineers
fix problems or enhance the functionality of the DataSnap. These changes can be applied to the DataSnap by using the
‘Upgrade Firmware’ option. Firmware upgrade files have a .WAF extension.
