Parameter
Description
Bytes Received
Total number of data bytes received. This statistic can be used as a
reasonable indication of Ethernet utilization.
Packets Received
The total number of packets (bad, broadcast and multicast) received.
Broadcast Packets
The total number of good packets received that were directed to the
Received
broadcast address. Note that this does not include multicast packets.
CRC/Alignment
For 10Mbs ports, the counter records CRC/alignment errors (FCS or
Errors Received
alignment errors). For 100Mbs ports, the counter records the sum of CRC/
alignment errors and code errors (frame received with rxerror signal).
Undersize Packets
The total number of frames received that were less than 64 octets long
Received
(excluding framing bits, but including FCS octets) and were otherwise well
formed.
Oversize Packets
The total number of frames received that were longer than 1518 octets
Received
(excluding framing bits, but including FCS octets) and were otherwise well
formed.
Collisions
The best estimate of the total number of collisions on this Ethernet
segment.
64-byte
The total number of frames (including bad packets) received and
Packets Received
transmitted that were 64 octets in length (excluding framing bits but
including FCS octets).
