The GUARD series single-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) incorporates
advanced digital control technology and double-conversion topology. It is a reliable
source of consistent and pure sinewave AC power supply and can work with a
wide range of electic inputs. Suitable for small and home office environments, the
GUARD series UPS provides power for sensitive electronic devices such as desktop
computers, networking devices, workstations, and home entertainment systems. The
device features an advanced control panel and a multifunctional LCD.

The UPS is NOT a power source, and thus NOT designed for sustained operation on
a battery. Its main purpose is to provide enough time for users to finish or save their
work and safely shut down their devices.
The nominal backup time is around 15 minutes at half load and around 5 minutes at
full load. Run times vary based on the power consumption by connected devices.
The closer to full power is drawn, the less backup time will remain. A fully loaded UPS
doesn’t provide a long backup time in Battery Mode and over time wears the batteries
down faster. It is highly recommendable to size the UPS and optimize the connected
loads up to 75% of the UPS maximum power output.
Although you can use the UPS immediately, the maximum backup time will be
available only after the batteries are fully charged (approximately after 6 hours).
