protection, over-discharge protection, over-temperature protection and other functions.
Some of the circumstances that may result in an automatic cut-off are:
• When an incompatible or malfunctioning charger is used which would result in battery
overload. The voltage measured by the battery will drop to close to 0V. Disconnect the
faulty charger and use a compatible, functioning one instead. Wait for the battery’s
voltage to return to normal levels. The BMS will then cancel the protective function. At
this point, the battery can be used normally again.
• The BMS will automatically cut off the battery’s discharge if it is about to be depleted
or over-discharged. The measured voltage is close to 0V. Please turn off any connected
electrical devices and disconnect all electrical loads from the battery. The BMS will
then cancel the protective function and the voltage will return to normal levels. Please
charge the battery before using it again.
• If the temperature of the operating environment is too high and the internal temperature
of the battery continues to rise due to discharge, the BMS will automatically cut off
the discharge. The measured voltage will be close to 0V. Under normal circumstances,
the battery should have cooled down sufficiently to resume operation within 15 to 30
minutes.
