5.3 Hardware configuration ACD DS210 Modem 56K TTL
The ACD DS210 Modem 56K TTL is delivered with integrated analogue modem.
This version of the DS210 is able to charge a M210, to charge one replacement battery, to transfer data
either directly from the M210 or via USB interface to a PC, or per remote data transmission via analogue
modem. Plug the modem cable in the RJ11 connector. Due to RTS/CTS – control lines you can
communicate with the modem with hardwarehandshake. The modem is activated via virtual COM port driver
at COM5. The modem is reset when the M210 is placed in the DS210. Furthermore it is possible to connect
a USB end device e.g. a USB memory stick to the USB-A connector.
