Concentration is unobtainable through the instruments control. Simply
open or close the vial adjust knob to correct. If the vial is nearly expired,
the vial may need to be replaced with a fresh vial to obtain higher
concentrations.
Sample draw instruments can be calibrated utilizing the GENie QC-1 by
filling a gas bag and drawing the calibration gas from the bag.

If the source is not initially detected by the processor, the unit will display

produce this display. In this case, the unit will turn itself off rather than
generate inaccurate calibration gas. Once you connect the QC-1 to the
correct main module, the error will go away.

and source calibration is required. In this case, the unit will continue to
operate normally. The message is simply a reminder.
