My screen shows I have a message.
Option #1:
1)
When the message box appears in the upper corner, Press INFO on your remote.
2)
After reading the message you can either keep or delete it by using the ARROW buttons to go to
keep
or
delete
and
using OK. If you choose
keep
it will be stored in your vault.
Option #2:
1)
When the message box appears in the upper corner, ignore it and it will be automatically saved to your
Vault
after a
time.
2)
To access it, Press MENU on your remote. Then using the ARROW buttons go to
Vault
, Press OK.
3)
Again using the ARROW buttons go to
Messages
, Press OK
4)
Press OK again and ARROW to
Delete
or
Cancel
. Press SELECT and then use the EXIT button to leave settings.
My TV won’t turn on with the programmed remote.
You may have set down the remote too quickly after pushing the power button to turn the TV off. When you press power
the remote sends 2 separate signals. To clear this up:
1) Press the TV button then POWER
2) Press the STB button then POWER
Now you should be able to just press POWER to turn the system back on.
My remote isn’t working.
Solution #1:
Be sure your remote is pointed directly at the set top box.
Solution #2:
Try changing the batteries (any two AA batteries can be used). Please note that when you replace the batteries
in your remote, it may be necessary to reprogram your remote.
I can’t change channels.
Chances are your remote and equipment (set top box, TV, ) somehow got outof sync. This likely occurred when the VCR,
TV, or STB button was pushed prior to the POWER button. Fix it by:
1)
Manually turn off all equipment (TV, DVD, etc)
2)
Turn everything back on through the remote (e.g. STB, POWER—TV, POWER—etc)
3) It may be necessary to unplug the set top box or reprogram your remote to turn the appropriate equipment on/off
In the Event of a Power Failure.
1)
When power has been restored, go to your TV set and manually turn it on.
2)
If you see a picture
, then you may use the provided remote for the TV and set top box on and off like usual.
3)
If you do not see a picture
, then manually turn the TV or set top box off and try turning it on with the provided remote.
