Configuring Alarm Traps
Alarm traps can be configured at the system level, physical layer, ATM and
multiservice over PSN layer, via the Traps menu. This configuration defines
whether traps are sent for a specific alarm type, using two settings:
•
Active – traps are sent for this alarm
•
Masked – traps are not sent for this alarm.

To access the Traps configuration menu:

From the Manager List menu (see
), select Traps.
The Traps menu is displayed.
