Parameter Description
Possible
Values
Transmit clock
source
The source of the T1 port's transmit clock.
For more information about the system clock
source, see
Note: If the T1 port is assigned to an IMA
group in CTC mode, the transmit clock cannot
be changed.
Internal
Loopback
System
Default: System
Line type
Variation of the T1 line implementing this
circuit. The type of circuit affects the number
of bits per second that the circuit can
reasonably carry, as well as the usage
interpretation and error statistics.
Note:
•
Unframed’ is not valid if mode is
UNI/IMA/Abis.
•
In CES-ATM mode, the line type cannot be
changed from CRC disabled/CRC enabled to
Unframed and vice versa as long as CES XC
is active on the relevant port.
ESF
Unframed
Default: ESF
Line code
Variety of Zero Code Suppression used on this
interface, which in turn affects a number of its
characteristics.
B8ZS
Line mode
T1 operation mode
DSU
CSU
Default: DSU
Line length
(feet)
The length of the T1 line in DSU mode, in feet.
0–133; 134–266;
267–399; 400–533;
534–655 feet in DSU
mode
0, -7.5, -15, -22.5
feet in CSU mode
Default:
0–133 (DSU)
0 (CSU)
Restore time (sec) Time (in seconds) used to change the
synchronization algorithms and reduce the
time required for the port to return to normal
operation after local loss of synchronization
(LOF event).
1 – complies with
ITU-T G.732
recommendation
10 – complies with
AT&T TR-62411
requirements.
Default: 1
Idle code
Byte pattern of the data received or
transmitted in the T1 idle timeslots (only for
allocated timeslots).
00 – FF Hex
Default: 7E
